Kids Camp at the Farm
Not Your Average Summer Camp
At Alpine Acres Sanctuary Farm®, summer camp means showing up to work — alongside our actual animal keepers, on a real working sanctuary with nearly 200 rescued animals across 32 species.
Your child won't be watching from behind a fence. They'll be in it — feeding the tortoises, walking the goats, harvesting vegetables, cleaning pens, and learning what it genuinely takes to care for animals like zebras, horses, goats, camels, and ostriches.
And then they'll make art about it.
We add in art and theater so kids process and express what they're experiencing — a sketchbook moment with a camel, a short skit about a rescue story, or a painted portrait of their favorite animal of the day.
Why This Is Different
Most summer camps hire counselors. We have animal keepers — people who do this every single day because they love it. Your kid gets to be their shadow.
Most summer camps have a "nature" theme. We have a living, breathing, 20-acre sanctuary where the animals actually need care, and your child gets to help provide it.
And unlike the big camps, you're not one of 200 kids. You're one of ten.
Ages 6+
Camp is open to children ages 6 and older.
Animal Encounters
Children can shadow animal keepers, feed animals, and enjoy hands-on learning.
Art & Theater
Campers enjoy art class and theater play as part of the camp experience.
Outdoor Fun
Campers enjoy nature, sensory exploration, and outdoor activities.
Weekday Camps
Camp runs Monday through Friday. Camps are not available Saturday or Sunday.
